Podiatry Office front/back office

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an individual to work in both the front and back office of a podiatry practice. The practice has two locations, Martinsville VA and Madison NC, and the schedule can possibly vary in terms of where you would work from one week to the next, depending on where you would be needed. This individual will be directly involved with the patients, assisting patients in and out of waiting room to treatment rooms, working with the electronic health record in each room to enter/update medications, keeping rooms stocked with supplies, eventually providing assistance to podiatrist in providing nail care (cutting), taking xrays, scheduling surgeries with hospital. Additionally, this individual will be cross trained to assist the office manager in the front office as needed. This would involve answering phones, entering patient data, and other front office related tasks.

Experience:

would prefer someone with experience in direct patient care, podiatry experience would be a plus.

Skills:

We would like a 'people person' as this job can and will test patience and ability to handle stress, and maintaining positivity during these times would be helpful.
