Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on complex electrical systems or performing routine maintenance, your hands-on skills will drive customer satisfaction and uphold our commitment to quality. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to execute repairs and maintenance tasks effectively. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance procedures. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle electrical systems, and auto estimating processes. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; perform wheel alignments and suspension adjustments as needed. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate findings clearly with customers to enhance their understanding of repairs needed. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in reading schematics and using diagnostic software for accurate troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery. Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent customer service skills paired with auto estimating experience to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and costs.
