Company Overview Sand Dunes Auto Service has been serving the community since 2006, specializing in full-service auto repair and maintenance for all import and domestic vehicles. Summary We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team . We are a busy 5 bay shop that is air conditioned, clean and well organized. From the front counter to the back of shop, we have processes in place to make the workflow seamless so the technician can focus on turning hours. Our compensation package includes hourly pay guarantee, plus flat rate, paid time off and sick pay. No weekends! Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles Conduct routine maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Maintain accurate records of services performed Communicate with advisors regarding vehicle status and repairs needed Stay updated on industry trends and technologies Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with 3+ years experience Experience with a variety of makes and models Experience with diesel or European vehicles are a plus Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with automotive electrical systems Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively Excellent customer service skills High attention to detail and quality workmanship ASE certification is a plus (preferred) Valid driver's license.
