Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various automotive systems using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, electrical systems, diesel engines, and other vehicle parts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Execute vehicle alignments, wheel balancing, brake repairs, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure safety and performance standards are met. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues across automotive electrical systems and mechanical components. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate repair needs clearly to customers. Collaborate with team members to uphold dealership standards for quality service and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, vehicle maintenance, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Customer service skills to effectively communicate repair processes and build trust with clients. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; prior experience working with GM vehicles is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
