Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician, where your skills and expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. This role offers a guaranteed base pay along with a sign-on bonus, ensuring your dedication is rewarded from day one. As a vital member of our service department, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles, including GM models and diesel engines, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts according to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic systems to enhance vehicle safety features. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS technology, wheel alignments, welding, and auto estimating is highly desirable. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software confidently. Mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred; experience with Schematics is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; previous experience in automotive service environments is advantageous.
