AV Technician Assistant

Petrone Technology Group is looking for an AV Technician Assistant to help with residential smart home and audio/video installations in Palm Beach County. This is a hands-on position. We're looking for someone dependable, motivated, eager to learn, and interested in growing within the smart home and AV industry. Experience in AV, low voltage, or smart home systems is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

Assist technicians with smart home and AV installations Learn industry systems, tools, and installation methods through hands-on training Use hand tools and basic construction skills on job sites Help pull wire, mount TVs/equipment, and organize materials Maintain a clean and professional work environment Follow directions and work well as part of a team

Requirements:

Strong willingness to learn and take direction Basic construction knowledge and ability to work with hand and power tools Comfortable working on ladders and active job sites Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic Ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly Must pass background check Experience with systems such as Lutron, Savant, Crestron, Sonos, networking, or home automation is a plus.
