The City of Phoenix Police Department's Information Technology Bureau (ITB) is seeking energetic and customer service driven applicants with a passion for technology to fill a User Support Specialist vacancy with the Service Delivery Team's ServiceDesk Support group. The position will provide first line end user technical support for all desktop, MDC (Mobile Data Computers), software, and all other computer-related hardware peripherals. Applicants must display technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, remote desktop tools, account management tools, and use of both desktop and laptop computers.IDEAL CANDIDATE

Pay Range:
$26.83 to $37.76 per hour.Hiring Range:

Two years experience working in customer service, computer operations, production control or providing technical support for computer users in an organization. An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered. All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position. Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.
