15+Yrs (Onsite) Azure Architect 15+ years of experience in design and deployment of cloud architecture Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, implement, and govern scalable, secure, and high availability cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The Azure Architect will play a key role in defining cloud strategy, architecture standards, and best practices while supporting application modernization, migration, and cloud native development initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership, architecture expertise, and close collaboration with business, engineering, security, IaC (terraform), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities Azure Architecture & Cloud Strategy:

Design and implement end to end Azure cloud architecture, Landing Zone aligned with business and technical requirements Develop cloud reference architectures, standards, and best practices Lead cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives Assess existing applications and infrastructure and recommend Azure based solutions Solution Design & Implementation Architect solutions using Azure services such as: Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts Azure Networking & Security resources (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, DDoS) Design for high availability, scalability, performance, and resiliency Ensure cost optimized and efficient cloud designs Security, Governance & Compliance Define and enforce Azure security architecture, including identity, access, and data protection Implement governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, Blueprints, and Management Groups Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, SRE principles and regulatory requirements Collaborate with security teams on threat modelling and risk mitigation DevOps & Automation Architect CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform Support cloud automation, monitoring, and operational excellence Enable DevOps and SRE best practices across teams Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a technical authority and mentor for cloud and engineering teams Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision forums Collaborate with application teams, enterprise
