Job Description

Outside Sales Representative - (For a large signage company)
Location:
Anaheim, CA (In-Office / Field-Based)
Base Salary:
$85,000 - $95,000 + commissions
Reports To:
Sales Manager About us: We are a nationwide leader in the signage industry, specializing in large-scale manufacturing and branding solutions for the banking sector and major national food chains. From Bank of America and Wells Fargo to Panera and Panda Express, we manufacture our high-quality products in-house at our Anaheim facility. We are looking for a high-energy Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive our market expansion.
The Role:
"The Hunter" As our first dedicated Outside Sales Representative, your primary mission is new business development. You will be the face of Coast Signs, tasked with generating new leads, hunting for untapped opportunities, and bringing in new accounts to fuel our growth. This role requires a self-starter who thrives on the road and enjoys the challenge of building a book of business.
Key Responsibilities New Lead Generation:
Actively scout and secure new business opportunities to expand our national footprint.
Strategic Growth:
Focus strictly on bringing in new accounts and growing our presence in the signage market.
Client Consultation:
Meet with prospective clients to understand their branding needs and present our in-house manufacturing capabilities.
Field Presence:
Travel approximately 20% of the time to attend industry trade shows and conduct face-to-face client meetings.
Market Ambition:
Partner with our leadership team—including our CEO, a former sales veteran—to identify high-value targets.
Must-Have Qualifications Sales Mentality:
A proven "Hunter" mindset with a track record in B2B (Business-to-Business) sales.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in the signage industry is a significant advantage. We will also welcome candidates with strong backgrounds in general construction or manufacturing.
Travel Flexibility:
Willing and able to travel (approx. 20%) for trade shows and client engagements.
Communication:
Exceptional pitching and negotiation skills with the ability to represent a premier national brand.
