Back of House Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Back of House Manager to lead our warehouse and logistics operations. Duties Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, sourcing, and category management to ensure timely availability of materials and products Oversee inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and materials handling processes to maximize accuracy and reduce waste Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) and freight logistics to optimize shipping & receiving, order picking, packing, and distribution workflows Lead warehouse operations including dispatching, forklift operation, warehouse experience, and shipping & receiving activities Implement process improvements through data analysis skills, supply chain analytics, and continuous review of operational procedures to enhance efficiency Supervise third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and freight carriers to ensure reliable delivery schedules Oversee demand planning, pricing strategies, procurement activities, and inventory management to align with business goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for order fulfillment, materials management, and reporting purposes Ensure compliance with safety standards related to materials handling equipment like forklifts and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) protocols Manage warehouse experience including picking & packing, order picking, packaging standards, and shipping & receiving operations Experience Proven experience in operations management within warehousing or logistics environments with a focus on supply chain management Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS), transportation planning tools (TMS), and ERP platforms such as AS400 or equivalent Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives utilizing data analysis skills and supply chain analytics Experience coordinating freight logistics with 3PL providers or NVOCCs in a fast-paced distribution setting Familiarity with procurement strategies, sourcing practices, category management, and demand planning processes Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment Join us as we streamline our back-of-house operations to deliver exceptional service while fostering innovation in supply chain practices.
