Back Office Assistant

Seeking a part-time employee to join our podiatry practice family. With offices located in Vandergrift, Natrona Heights, Glenshaw and Cabot. •Open positions are for 2 days a week, Monday and Friday in the Vandergrift office, but also 1 day a month in the Natrona Heights office, and/or moving around to the other offices if needed. Essential functions Welcome and greet patients with a friendly smile. Typing/computer, electronic medical record, and medical assistant technical skills. Cleaning rooms in between patients, and cleaning office areas as needed Stocking rooms/office, keeping up with inventory and supplies. Rooming patients, assist with helping them get in the patient chairs, and taking off their socks and shoes. Obtaining authorizations for procedures/surgeries from insurance companies. Scheduling patients for appointments, answering incoming phone calls. Scanning documents into our new EHR system. Ability to communicate clearly; work independently and as a team member. Prior medical office experience preferred. Flexibility, friendliness, team player. The position open is for a Back Office Assistant within a great team of family, friends and coworkers, who work hard, but enjoy one anothers company, and reliability we all provide for one another.
