Bakery Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a keen eye for detail, assisting in the preparation, production, and packaging of our croutons and stuffing. This role offers an opportunity to develop production experience within a fast-paced, product quality focused environment. Prior experience in kitchen work, and food handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. The Bakery Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the production and packaging of high-quality products in a team focused environment. Duties Assist in producing Olivia's premium quality croutons and stuffing, including bread cutting, producing seasoning mixes using established recipes and techniques, help with bagging and boxing croutons, general cleaning associated with food production. Package baked items efficiently while maintaining product integrity and appearance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Handle food with care following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs. Work in a cooperative environment with fellow production staff. Experience Previous experience in baking, or food preparation is highly desirable. Experience working in a food industry setting such as catering or restaurant environments is beneficial. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation practices is preferred. Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
