Bakery Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bakery Assistant. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery by assisting with food preparation, baking, inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the culinary arts, particularly in baking and food production, and possess knowledge of food safety practices. Hours 5 am-1 pm Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Sunday - Hours dependant on availability. Duties Bake and assist to bake, various baked goods, duties include measuring, mixing, preparing pastries and bread. Make Burritos. Operate baking equipment and tools safely while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Help with the decoration and presentation of baked products to ensure they meet quality standards. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience in the culinary or food industry is mandontory. Basic knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with baking techniques and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be comfortable using kitchen tools such as knives and mixers. Please have experience with culinary.
