Bakery Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for a full time Assistant Store Manager to learn our business and to join us in making the world's best cookies. Hours for the position would be 3:30pm- 10:30pm including weekends, with adjustments based off business needs. Candidate must be organized and extremely detail- oriented as well as energetic with an upbeat personality. Must enjoy working with teens and having fun! Management experience required, bakery or kitchen leadership a plus. Ability to do basic decorating on cookies and cookie cakes with buttercream icing. You don't have to be an expert, but we could use some basic piping skills. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be quick with your hands. Customer service is a huge part of this job and you must love to make customers old and young happy. We have been making the best, scratch-baked cookies for miles around for 30 years and are family owned and operated. Responsibilities:

+ Manage Teen Staff and shifts +Hire and arrange training for new employees +Oversee all functions of the store +Must be able to mix and bake cookies following recipes to meet exact standards. +We are an extremely high volume production environment and you MUST have a high sense of urgency. +Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a stressful environment. +Answer phone and take orders with accuracy. +Decorate cookies and cookie cakes. +Assist customers by providing excellent customer service during their purchases of cookies and ice cream as well as order taking and making milkshakes. +Clean and maintain production room and front end lobby.

Qualifications:

+Must have decorating experience (buttercream frosting) +Baking experience or kitchen management/leadership required +Must be quick with hands and a great multi-tasker +Must be able to lift 50 lbs above waist. +Must strive for perfection +Must enjoying working as a team and with others as well as provide supervision to younger support staff. +Must maintain a clean working environment. +Must be 18 or older with at least a high school diploma. +Must be available to work between the hours of 3:00pm and 10:30pm 5 days per week including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
