Hours:
5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator with hands-on experience setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to drive efficiency and high-quality output. The ideal candidate must be skilled in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and monitoring machine performance to minimize downtime and meet production goals. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper operation
  • Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are functioning optimally
  • Operate and monitor semi-automated machinery during production
  • Calibrate and recalibrate machines at the start and end of each shift
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure efficiency, quality, and optimal run times
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during machine operation
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Conduct random quality checks to ensure product accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines before and after each shift
  • Ensure all necessary materials are stocked and available for production
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and production records
  • Communicate progress, issues, and updates to supervisors
Machine Operator Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Forklift experience
  • Capability to safely operate a forklift, including frequent climbing on and off equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and production schedules
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
  • Perform repetitive movements, including bending, stooping, and crouching
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to push and pull materials as needed
  • Safety-focused with the ability to follow detailed work instructions, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate production records
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining precision and consistency
