Overview We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Bakery Manager to lead our bakery team. In this role, you'll oversee daily bakery operations, ensure the highest quality of baked goods, and create a welcoming environment for both staff and customers. Responsibilities Manage daily bakery operations, including food preparation, baking, and packaging of baked goods. Supervise bakery staff, providing training on cake decorating, knife skills, and food handling techniques. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and stock rotation to minimize waste. Ensure all baked products meet quality standards and are presented attractively for customers. Support catering events and special orders with culinary expertise and efficient service. Foster a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service and continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in bakery management or a similar food production role within the food industry. Strong pastry experience with skills in cake decorating and food presentation. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Hands-on experience with baking, cooking, and food preparation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential.
