Open Until Filled Step in for a season. Make it count for students. Music moves through more than one building here. From first notes in middle school band to established high school ensembles, students keep showing up each day expecting their program to feel real, steady, and worth their effort. This role steps into that ongoing rhythm across Lakeside Middle School and Lakeside High School, carrying forward the work already in motion while helping students stay connected to it. You meet students at different stages, some just learning how they fit into a group, others already shaping the sound of an ensemble, all needing consistency in front of them. The year keeps moving. Rehearsals continue. Pep band shows up on Friday nights. Concerts stay on the calendar. You are not rebuilding from scratch, but you are guiding what comes next. The work asks for presence, adaptability, and a respect for the program students have already invested in. In both buildings, students notice when the person leading them brings steadiness to the room. Your role is to help keep that momentum intact so students can keep growing, performing, and feeling that their work matters.
