Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar and have 3+ years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, insolvency, or complex commercial litigation. About Us Confidential Employer. Job Description Represent debtors, creditors, trustees, receivers, and assignees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters Support state court insolvency actions, assignments for the benefit of creditors, receiverships, and fiduciary matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents Assist with contested bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts Participate in court hearings, mediations, negotiations, and case strategy discussions Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members Manage deadlines, competing priorities, and multiple active matters in a sophisticated legal practice Qualifications Admission to the New Jersey Bar 2+ years of relevant bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, insolvency, or complex commercial litigation experience Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and drafting skills Experience with court appearances or contested matters Ability to manage multiple matters independently and collaboratively New York Bar admission is a plus Why You Will Love Working Here Work on sophisticated matters with attorneys who know this practice area well Get real responsibility, client exposure, and courtroom experience Join a respected firm with deep New Jersey roots and a strong professional reputation Receive meaningful support for CLE, bar dues, memberships, and business development Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and a workplace focused on growth, respect, and long-term success
