Job Description
About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, vibrant personality Events Coordinator to join our team at Testa's Weddings & Events venue. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for clients planning events at our venue, ensuring seamless execution from initial booking to event completion. Your energetic approach and exceptional communication skills will help create memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining smooth operations behind the scenes. Duties Sales & Client Development:
Answer venue inquiries, give venue tours, prepare proposals, and negotiate contractsAdmin & Detailing :
Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), coordinate room setups, manage menus, and schedule waitstaffVenue Coordination :
Liaise between clients and internal teams (kitchen, setup, breakdown, and service) to ensure the venue is prepared and events run smoothlyProblem-Solving:
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure with attention to detailTeam Development:
Understand the importance of team building and development while fostering partnerships with colleagues and vendorsLeadership :
Oversee and direct event staff, assistants, and wedding/event parties with confidence and professionalismDocumentation:
Maintain accurate event documentation and follow established systems and processesSafety & Compliance:
Ensure all venue requirements and safety protocols are met Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, planning, or related hospitality role Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in banquet, restaurant, or serving industry Flexible schedule with availability for some evenings and weekends Understanding of event logistics, timelines, and vendor management Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage confidential information professionally Professional, polished demeanor with excellent communication skills (both client-facing and internal) Calm, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities Physical Requirements Ability to be on your feet for 8-12 hours during event days Team-oriented mindset with the capability to assist with light setup tasks and physical event preparation Reliable transportation Schedule & Availability 15-20 hours per week with the ability to expand into more hours Availability to work weekends and some weekday evenings What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Part-time position with flexible scheduling Collaborative, event-focused team environment Opportunity to work with diverse, clientele and varied event types Award-winning venue with high-volume event experience Professional development and growth opportunities to expand your hospitality career Why Testa's?
