Banquet Server La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011 $20 - $25 an hour - Part-time Banquet Server — On-Call, Part-Time La Cañada Flintridge Country Club We are looking for a dependable, friendly Banquet Server to join our team. This on-call, part-time position assists with private parties, weddings, club events, and other special functions. Hours vary based on scheduled events and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:

Based on experience. Responsibilities Set up tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations according to event instructions. Greet members and guests and provide attentive, professional service. Serve food and beverages for plated meals, buffets, and receptions. Replenish buffet items, clear tables, and maintain clean service areas. Communicate guest requests and dietary concerns to the appropriate staff. Work closely with the banquet captain, kitchen, and event team to keep service running smoothly. Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and resetting rooms. Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service procedures. Qualifications Previous banquet, restaurant, or catering experience preferred. Valid food handler card required. Friendly attitude and strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a busy team environment. Availability for varying event shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during event shifts. Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and event supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout dining and service areas. Ability to safely carry and balance trays of food and beverages. Ability to assist with moving and arranging tables, chairs, and banquet equipment, using team assistance when needed. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor event spaces.
