The opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Banquet Server to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Banquet Server, you will provide outstanding customer service by serving food and beverages in a banquet setting, ensuring that Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite guests' needs are met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner. The ideal Banquet Server candidate will be friendly, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings. Pay $16.90

What will you do? Sets up tables for the function in accordance with the banquet event order Accurately transports food and beverages to guests promptly Performs necessary tasks to service guests, including: taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures. Monitors guest needs continually, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable) Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow team members Breaks down the event according to the company procedures More about you Must be 18 or older Minimum of 3 months' previous experience in food and beverage service preferred Excellent guest service skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, including listening skills, and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly No high school diploma or GED required Physical requirements Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of the shift Ability to lift to 35 pounds Mobility to maneuver between tables Shift details Days OT as needed
