Summary : A Banquet Server at a resort plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events, weddings, meetings, and banquets hosted at the resort's facilities. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the success of various functions. Banquet servers are responsible for serving food and beverages, setting up and maintaining event spaces, and providing top-notch service to guests. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Provide attentive and prompt service throughout the event, including taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and refilling drinks.
  • Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy as they arrive at the event.
  • Collaborate with the banquet set-up team to arrange dining tables according to event specifications.
  • Ensure that tables are set up properly for the event.
  • Serve food and beverages accurately, adhering to resort protocols.
  • Handle and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, following resort policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain a keen sense of timing to ensure food is served promptly.
  • Ad to rigorous hygiene and food safety standards, including proper handling and disposal of food.
  • Clear tables efficiently between courses, removing used dishes and glassware while maintaining a neat andanized dining area.
The colleague is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent Hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Serving experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food and beverage Food Handlers permit/ Alcohol Service Certification are preferred but not required. Job
REQUIRMENTS
Must be authorized to work in the United States Excellent oral and writtenmunication skills required. Project and time management skills are essential. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more. Qualifications
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the Colleague is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit. At least 70% of this position entails standing for extended periods of time, carrying trays of food, working in both indoor/outdoor environments, and guest interaction. The Colleague frequently uses hands and arms to reach, carry, and lift items. Good vision is essential to the success of this position. The Colleague can reasonably be expected to experience moderate to high noise levels and temperature fluctuations. A Colleague must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
