Bar Manager

SNPJ Lodge 138 is seeking a bar manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of its bar and social hall. SNPJ is a private club that hosts a variety of events, including daily bowling leagues, bingo, bands, bar crawls, private parties, as well as an annual Pig Roast and Canonsburg-famous Duck Race. In addition to the special events, the bar is open daily. We are looking for a bar manager to grow the bar's business, increase traffic, and create a fun, welcoming environment. The bar manager will be responsible for:

• Inventory management
• Promoting and advertising drink specials
• Creating and managing bartender schedules
• Training bartenders and setting service expectations
• Ensuring cleanliness of the bar
• Scheduling and managing upstairs hall rental
• Identifying building issues and scheduling maintenance as needed
• Manage all aspects of point-of-sale system This position allows for flexibility and can be full or part-time. Bartending shifts are optional
• bar managers are not required to be on the bartender schedule, but would need to be able to cover shifts or assist with busy events when needed.
