Bar Server

Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Square POS Serve beverages and food promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met. Manage multiple tables & bar efficiently through effective time management and prioritization. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations. Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations during shifts, including restocking supplies and preparing garnishes. Engage with guests to enhance their experience through friendly, attentive customer service, including upselling beverages or menu items when appropriate. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, brewing techniques, and food safety standards. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Experience with catering or event service can be an asset for handling diverse guest needs. Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude to foster a welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and familiarity with food industry standards are essential. We will expect maintaining a positive and good attitude, strong work ethic, excellent customer service with reliable transportation.
