Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies to uphold health and safety standards. Restock bar inventory such as bottles, garnishes, napkins, straws, and utensils to ensure bartenders have everything they need for service. Assist with food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks for guests when needed. Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and managing waste to keep the bar area tidy and inviting. Handle basic POS (Point of Sale) operations using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when required. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during catering or banquet events to maintain quality and safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy nights or special events in a nightclub or banquet setting. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred, especially in nightclub, banquet, or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong cleaning skills and knowledge of food handling safety protocols are essential. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests. Experience with cashiering or cash handling enhances your ability to support the team efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special event days. Kitchen experience or barista background is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key.
