RADIOGRAPHER/NCT/CMA THPG
  • Ortho Trauma Specialists
  • Fulltime, Days Radiographer/NCT/CMA Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer/NCT/CMA Work location: 7715 San Jacinto
  • Suite 100 Plano, Texas 75024 Work environment: Family Care Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Thursday (745am
  • 430pm), Fridays (745am
  • 3pm)

Here's What You Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • Completion of an approved NCT Training Program (REQUIRED)
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)
  • Two years of Orthopedic experience (STRONGLY
PREFERRED
)
  • One year Medical Assistant experience (REQUIRED)
  • NCT registered by the Texas Medical Board and CMA certification upon hire (REQUIRED)
What You Will Do:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards
  • Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
  • Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts and sets radiologic controls
  • Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules and department policies
  • Obtain and record vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee:
