Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems. Engage with customers warmly, take orders, answer questions, and provide excellent service to ensure satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy using POS systems Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met Assist in food preparation tasks Qualifications Previous barista experience or strong passion for coffee and food service is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift moderate weight when necessary Join us in creating a lively environment where great coffee meets outstanding service!
