Barista

Wildwick Coffee Co is looking for a dedicated and energetic Barista to join our team in Glacier View for the 2026 summer season. We are a brand new specialized coffee and retail outpost focused on high-quality espresso and drip, local pastries, Local teas, handmade retail items, and local Alaskan culture. The owner's previous, much smaller location in Glacier View was River's Edge Espresso, if you'd like to take a look and see what the vibe is about! We are looking for someone who doesn't just want a job, but who has a genuine passion for excellent coffee . Whether you are already a pro or are eager to become one, we provide a super high level of paid professional training . You will be taught everything from technical volumetric brewing to the art of pouring beautiful lattes.

Compensation & Growth Base Pay:

13/hour + tips with a guaranteed increase as the season progresses.

Tips:

High earning potential, with an average range of $5-$20 per hour in tips .

Priority:

You are the face of the shop. We need someone who is consistently on time, trustworthy, and incredibly dependable.

Independence:

You must be confident working solo shifts and managing the shop's flow and POS system efficiently.

Physically Capable:

Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of a shift. Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older . Must live within a 1-hour commute of Glacier View, AK. Barista experience is preferred , but we are willing to train someone with a stellar attitude and a "willingness to learn it all" mindset. Must be available for the full seasonal window ( May through September ). Scheduling We are looking for someone who can work a minimum of 16 hours/week, but 3-4 days a week or 24-32 hours is preferred. We can discuss a full time seasonal position for the right candidate.
