Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Handle food preparation and serving duties in accordance with food safety and handling standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure correct change and sales recording Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Experience in food service or the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee and dedication to service will shine!
