As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages. of coffee. Responsibilities Create, prepare, and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Continuously improve knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is required . Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food/bev handling practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while providing excellent customer service. A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn more about different brewing methods and flavors. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
