We're a specialty coffee company operating a neighborhood café, mobile coffee catering, and coffee education programs. We pull espresso on a Slayer Steam, brew pourovers on Kalita Wave and V60, and care deeply about every cup we serve.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, pourovers, and tea with precision and care
• Provide warm, attentive hospitality to every guest
• Work café shifts and/or mobile coffee catering events (corporate events, weddings, private parties)
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow food safety standards
• Dial in espresso and adjust grind/dose/yield throughout service
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

What We're Looking For:

• At least 1 year of barista experience in a specialty coffee environment
• Solid espresso fundamentals — you can dial in, steam milk properly, and pour basic latte art
• Genuine passion for coffee and hospitality
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Available for flexible scheduling including weekends and some early mornings
• Must have reliable transportation (we're in River Forest, just west of Chicago) Nice to

Have:

• Experience with pourover brewing methods (V60, Kalita Wave)
• Catering or event experience
• Interest in coffee education or training others
• SCA certifications or equivalent training

Compensation:

• $24•28/hour (base + tips) depending on experience•Flexible scheduling•Free coffee and employee discount on beverages•Opportunity to work catering events at an additional hourly rate We're a small team that takes our craft seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
