In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious coffee beverages, handle customer transactions with precision, and create an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with skill and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals to enhance the customer experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café environment while managing serving duties and cashier responsibilities.
