Barista Shift Leader

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, detail minded Barista Shift Leader to join our dynamic Bad Ass Coffee team in Gulf Shores, AL! In this pivotal role, you will lead by example, ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service. As a shift leader, you'll oversee the barista team, manage food and beverage preparation, and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests. A knowledge in team training as well as labor and inventory control is recommended. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire your team to deliver top-notch coffee experiences and foster a positive atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities Be reliable to assist in growing the business Lead daily operations during your shift, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service. To coach your team to complete daily tasks. Supervise and motivate baristas, providing guidance on coffee brewing, food handling, and customer interactions. Manage cash handling, POS transactions accurately. Oversee food safety practices, food preparation, and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Be a positive inviting customer advocate to ensure service to their to their satisfaction involving their orders, answering their questions, and resolving any service issues promptly. Use proper phone etiquette. Maintains a clean and organized establishment, including equipment maintenance and stock replenishment. Handles company or store promotional materials as instructed and shares instructions to ensure participation by the team. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts and to coach sense of urgency. Strong communication skills to lead your team effectively. Knowledge in using daily communications with a team to coach on proper procedures and/or information and reminders. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Pay:

$14.56 - $17.15 per hour
