Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of baristas during your shift, fostering a positive and energetic work environment Oversee daily café operations, including food preparation, beverage crafting, and customer service excellence Ensure all food safety and handling procedures are strictly followed to maintain health standards Manage POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Assist with training new team members in food service, cash handling, and POS operation Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure seamless service throughout the shift Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their experience Requirements Proven barista experience with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and food handling procedures Prior experience leading or supervising a team in a café or retail environment is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service roles This role offers an engaging environment where your leadership can shine!
