Provides assistance and support to Technical Services personnel in tracking, documenting, auditing, validating and adjusting processes within the Ready Mix Division. Assists with data entry into Quadrel. Assists in development and maintaining positive and proactive relationships with Prairie plant, operations and support personnel, ensuring mutually beneficial and collaborative processes for maintaining product quality.Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the quality of product being produced daily. Works closely and communicates regularly with Technical Services Supervisor and Managers, Operations, Dispatch and Customer Service. Ensures non-conformance and other quality performance reports are completed accurately and in a timely fashion. Provides support to Process Owners to measure, document and track specific actual performance in the areas of quality, efficiency and customer service. Enters data from contract field technicians in appropriate systems. Enters results from third-party laboratories into Quadrel. Uses the Command system to retrieve ticket, batch, customer, and other information as required. Assists Technical Support Manager and Technical Services Field Supervisor and Manager with Performance reporting and Special Projects. Files reports, inspection results, lab certifications, general office duties, etc.Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma plus two to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Qualified applicants must have the following certifications: ACI Level 1 andIDOT PCC
Level 1 and Level 2 including 3-day IDOT Aggregate. Must have knowledge of concrete production and testing. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high profile and fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with DOT regulations.Note:
