!! We will train the right candidate. Tbaar is located inside Cerritos Mall next to Macy's and we are looking for a Cashier/Barista team member to prepare and serve beverages, including various types of teas and smoothies. Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences and taking orders. You will be trained to prepare many various different drinks. To be successful in this role, you should have an upbeat, friendly and people skills. You should be able to work various shifts between hours of 9am-10pm and work at least 3 days per week. Flexible full time schedules available. This is a fast pace position, please apply if you meet the all requirements. Responsibilities Greet and smile to customers as they enter with a friendly tone an warm and positive attitude. Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of dairy and sugar ratios, etc) Prepare beverages following recipes Receive inventory and stock Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the bar area clean Maintain stock of clean blenders and supplies Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate customer feedback to managers Clean, mop, sweep, wash duties Skills Warm, cheerful, and positive attitude is a must. No previous work experience required Knowledge of sanitation regulations - will further train Flexibility to work various shifts Basic math skills Ability to display enthusiasm to customers. Excellent communication skills
