Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages following established recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with precision, maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Ensure food safety standards are met by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling snacks or light meals for customers Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of beverage recipes Previous cashiering experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that engages guests positively Strong time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food service environment Ability to work effectively in a team while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings This role offers an engaging environment where your passion for the food industry can shine.
