Barista/Food Prep/Cashier

Tips average $5-$6 per hour Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will contribute to an exceptional experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, including wiping the tables , floor and dishes. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions. Upsell food products and pastry are must Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to enhance their experience. Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining a positive attitude. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations. Familiarity with food and drink preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed. Communicate professionally and constructively - no drama, no negativity , just teamwork

Shift :
