Barn Hand

Unique opportunity for summer work! There is potential for turning into a full time position for the right fit! We are looking for someone to join our team who is a confident rider, motivated worker, team player. A positive attitude is a MUST! During the months of June - August we take 9 of our Tennessee Walking Horses to a beautiful trail riding haven. A remote island outside of Charlevoix on Lake Michigan. You would be asked to work a rotating schedule (2 weeks on/1 week off) for the entirety of the island season. A start date before we depart is preferred at our main location in Clarkston, MI to become acclimated to our routine and horses. We take pride in the cleanliness of our barn so a large part of the job will be cleaning. Organization and attention to detail is very important. Housing, food, transport to and from island, and gas to drive to and from Charlevoix included in compensation. Serious inquiries only
