SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Originally utilized as a summer retreat in the late 1800s, this 55 acre property will now feature 22 guest rooms, many with Kenoza Lake views and large soaking tubs. The property will offer a fine dining experience by Foster Supply Hospitality's award-winning culinary team, outdoor lake-view seating and a full bar & common area complete with a brand new fieldstone fireplace.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

At Foster Supply Hospitality we are a Team. The first and largest expectation and duty is that of being a productive, positive, and willing member of a dynamic team. Developing a creative beverage/cocktail menu under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager Serving tables and providing a high level of customer service for an overall excellent guest experience Learning and utilizing Toast POS Collecting payments and managing the cash drawer. Working with the restaurant manager to meet the needs of service and other administrative tasks Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the restaurant Meeting the needs of hotel guests and restaurant patrons Supporting with weddings and other events

QUALIFICATIONS

1 years of prior bartender experience required/ high end experience preferred High school degree or equivalent Excellent communication skills Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Weekdays, weekends, holidays, and late nights required Positive attitude, friendly, professional demeanor, and strong customer service skills Must be able to interact with hotel and other guests as well as other employees in a courteous and professional manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Usually indoors, but may involve outdoor table service. Some restaurant spaces may be hot (kitchen) or involve other potential hazards such as hot plates/food/beverages and slippery floors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position can be physically demanding as it is mostly standing. Walking up and down stairs may be required. Requires the ability to be on one's feet for long periods at a time. Carrying/balancing food and beverage. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
