Overview Cinq A Sept is a new French Bistro opening in North Boulder in mid June. Brought to you by the same team that operates Corrida and C Bar this midscale Bistro hopes to bring something unique and special to the neighborhood. Cinq a Sept (5 - 7) which is happy hour in France aims to be a relaxing place to have a nice glass of wine/ cocktail and bistro fair surrounded by warm hospitality. Service will be not be fine dining but will be to a very high standard. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests warmly to take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling expertise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations. Manage multiple tables or bar stations through effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours. Upsell drink specials and promote beverage options to increase sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences. Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices and adherence to alcohol service laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions. Experience Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Basic math skills including retail math for cash handling, billing, and inventory management. Previous roles involving serving alcohol responsibly in licensed venues like nightclubs or catering events are highly valued.
