The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively while maintaining a high standard of service will be crucial to your success in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders and payments efficiently. Engage with customers, providing excellent customer service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock levels. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquet and catering events. Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and fine dining service standards to enhance the guest experience. Experience Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure setting. Basic math skills are required for managing tabs, processing payments, and handling cash transactions. Experience with retail math concepts is a plus, as it relates to inventory management and sales tracking. A background in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable, along with any relevant certifications in bartending or alcohol service.
