Position Summary The Miller's Smorgasbord Bartender must be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills to ensure guests' enjoyment. You should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Be guest sensitive and possess a sense of timing. Take pride in personal appearance and show dedication to your job. Display integrity and honesty in all aspects of your employment. This position is full-time with responsibilities of a full-service bar. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Making guests feel appreciated through your actionsWorking as a team with all coworkers in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage serviceKeep all area cleaned and stocked to the company's standards at all timesFollows standard receipts for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesGarnish's beverages to standard before servingDelivers beverages to correct tables in a timely and friendly mannerProvide service to full-service bar Washing and sterilization of stemwareResponsibly serve alcohol and remain aware of guests' state of intoxicationCommunication with serving staffOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Be of legal age to serve alcohol (18 years or older)RAMP CertificateWeekends, evenings and holidays requiredAbility to follow safety protocolsAbility to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test (RAMP) with a score of 90% or betterBasic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct changeBasic reading skillsBasic computer skills to operate POS systemBasic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipesExcellent communication skillsOrganizational skillsMulti-task orientedKnowledge of Companys food and beverage specificationsKnowledge of workplace safety procedures
