Job Description
We are a dedicated practice specializing in allergy, asthma, and immunology care, committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive treatment in a welcoming environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BC/BE Allergist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver expert allergy, asthma, and immunology services to diverse patient populations, including both adults and pediatrics. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through thorough assessments, innovative treatments, and collaborative care planning. Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations related to allergy, asthma, and immunological conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing allergy testing, immunotherapy (such as allergy shots), and medication management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for complex cases involving respiratory or immune system disorders. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Stay current with advances in allergy and immunology research to incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care. Educate patients on managing their conditions effectively through health coaching and lifestyle modifications. Extensive knowledge of allergy testing techniques, immunotherapy protocols, and related procedures such as skin testing and spirometry. Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic) and medical imaging tools relevant to allergy diagnostics. Strong understanding of respiratory therapy, airway management, and critical care principles applicable to severe allergic reactions or asthma exacerbations. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes related to allergy procedures and treatments. Ability to perform clinical research or participate in ongoing studies within allergy/immunology fields. Excellent patient service skills combined with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
