Entry Level Welder

A Metal Fabrication Facility in Schertz, TX is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Entry-Level Welders. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in welding and metal fabrication. You'll receive hands-on training and work under the supervision of experienced welders to learn industry-standard techniques and safety practices. Key Responsibilities Assist in welding and metal fabrication tasks using Plasma and MIG welding methods Prepare materials by cleaning, measuring, and cutting metal components Operate basic welding equipment and hand tools Follow blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions Inspect welds for accuracy and quality under supervision Maintain a clean and organized work area Comply with safety regulations and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED Completion of a welding training program or vocational course preferred Basic understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Excellent work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Ability to work in a non climate controlled envrionment. Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must pass a pre-employment background screen.
