Per Hr Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable beertender to join our team at Dakota Point Brewing. As a beertender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, offering expert knowledge about our diverse selection of beers, and creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prior experience as a bartender or beertender preferred. Deep knowledge of different beer styles, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Follow alcohol awareness procedures to monitor customer intake of alcohol, observe behavior, and take appropriate steps to limit excessive drinking and intoxication. Do not serve intoxicated customers and offer alternatives to minimize their intoxication.

• Engage customers in beer tastings and flights, guiding them through different selections to enhance their understanding and enjoyment.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current and upcoming beer offerings, including seasonal and limited-edition brews.
• Assist in the development and updating of beer menus and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with brewers and suppliers to stay informed about new products and industry trends.
• Monitor and manage keg levels to ensure a consistent supply of fresh beer.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting coworkers and supporting bar operations as needed. Must be 21 Must have, or be able to acquire TAM certification
• Prior experience as a bartender or beertender preferred.

Working Conditions:

This position requires an individual who works under a range of circumstances including shift work, weekend work, working with challenging patrons, working in the fast-paced environment of a crowded taproom, and working within proximity of an operating brewery (noise, heavy equipment, odors related to the brewing process).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Navigate tight spaces and crowded areas.
