Before and After School Program Staff (Club Kid)

YMCA of Middletown•Club Kid Program (Minisink School District•located within the Minisink Valley Elementary/ Intermediate School and Otisville Elementary School)

Part-Time (AM, PM, or Both)

Start Date:

As soon as possible Are you passionate about working with children? Looking for a meaningful part-time job that aligns with the school calendar? Join our Club Kid Before and After School Program , where we provide a fun, safe, and enriching environment for elementary-aged children. As a member of our Club Kid team, you will be responsible for supervising, engaging, and mentoring students before and/or after school. This is an ideal position for college students, paraprofessionals, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working with youth in a positive, structured environment.

Schedule:

Monday•

Friday AM Shift:

Approx. 7:00 AM•9:00

AM PM Shift:

Approx. 3:00 PM•6:00 PM Shifts may vary slightly by school Opportunities available for one or both shifts •We are also looking for subs if you can not make the full week commitment•

Responsibilities:

Supervise children in a group setting Lead games, crafts, and recreational activities Promote social-emotional growth and safety Build strong, positive relationships with students and families Follow YMCA and school district policies and procedures

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Experience working with children preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be willing to get fingerprinted and cleared through the NYS Central Clearance as mandated by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services Must be willing to get an updated health physical and a TB test Have or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Why Join Club Kid?
