Job Description

Job Purpose Provide Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families Competencies Communication Skills Demeanor Dependability Job knowledge Organizational Skills Relationship Building Teamwork Work Standards Duties and responsibilities Provide center-based and in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis service Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of applied behavior analysis Implement and follow Behavior Support Plans (BSP) Teach curriculum and programming for each client's BSP; model appropriate skills and/or social behaviors and monitor Provide information to client's BCBA related to BSP success/failure, parent questions and/or concerns, and scheduling changes, etc. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Participate in discussion during supervision feedback sessions; review performance related to BSP and parent/client interactions; implement feedback and BSP changes Preparing materials for individual and group activities Complete datasheets, program sheets, and other forms of documentation Track and report billable hours for insurance providers through practice management software Additional Duties and Responsibilities Serve as backup for other BTs Clean and maintain the center Participate in training as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 6 months childcare experience (ABA experience preferred) Excellent verbal and writing skills Ability to pass a criminal background check Working conditions Work performed in an office environment, clinical center, and client homes. Travel to client homes to provide services or community activities. Physical requirements Required to stand for long periods of time; use of hands and arms to complete tasks; may need to taste or smell as a part of development programs; may need to walk or sit in the course of work as well as light to medium levels of lifting of supplies or equipment. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
