Behavioral Aide — Adult with Autism

We are a family in the northwest suburbs of Chicago seeking a dedicated 1:1 Behavioral Aide for my adult brother, who is 30 years old and has autism. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working with adults with autism to work Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. (or some variant of these hours). Chris has had the same aide for the past six years, and we are hoping to find someone with a similar level of consistency. Chris's daily activities and programming are developed and overseen by a psychologist trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), so the right candidate will work collaboratively with our clinical team. Prior experience with ABA is a plus, though we are open to candidates who are eager to learn. Our ideal candidate is patient, dependable, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys working with individuals

Pay:

$24.00 - $40.00 per hour
