Job Description
Overview We are looking for an energetic, "go getter" person to work in direct care with residential treatment clients. Job duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring, observation, and documenting clients' behaviors, participation in the program, and interactions with peers and staff. You would assist with maintaining the facility to ensure sanitary conditions, occasionally assisting with serving prepared meals, client and room searches, client inventory and taking client to assigned cabin and room. Other duties include providing transportation to services outside the facility. Working together with other residential program techs to build a good team and make it fun not only for the clients, but the staff as well is encouraged. Multiple shift availability offers a flexible schedule. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by supervisors. Collect and record data on client behavior to track progress and effectiveness of interventions. Assist in crisis intervention strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care. Engage with clients using positive reinforcement techniques to promote desired behaviors. Skills Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Strong data collection skills for effective monitoring of client progress. Experience in behavior management techniques tailored for children and individuals with special needs. Ability to perform crisis intervention effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
